Adrienne Eliza Bailon was born on October 24,1983 in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan, New York. Her parents taught her that education was important, but what was even more so, was doing what you loved. Adrienne went to the High School for Health Professions and Human Services with every intention of becoming an obstetrician. She wanted to help bring babies into the world! Before she could pursue her dream of becoming an obstetrician, she spent most of her time singing; to herself, her family and preforming at church, in choir and in church plays and programs. Once, while practicing at Madison Square Gardens, Ricky Martin came in and asked for the four best singers from the choir, and she was among those chosen. Though this was a great honor, and it did spark her desire for more opportunities like that, Adrienne decided to postpone furthering her education, and chose instead to make her mark in the music industry. Before long she was asked to join a group called "3 Little Women" (aka 3LW). All the while she was continuing to learn and educate herself in the art of performance. One thing led to another, and she utilized the opportunities presented to her, soon becoming one of Disney's "Cheetah Girls", which propelled her even further into the musical/film industry. For now, she is content to continue on in this path her life has taken her down, thankful for each chance she has to share her beautiful voice with all those around her. Adrienne has worked hard and persevered to get where she is now, and she doesn't take a moment for granted.
