Eli Manning was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana in a family that included father Archer Manning and older brother Peyton Manning, two famous NFL players. He attended the Isidore Newman School, where his coach claims he always knew the kid was going to be a star. Eli chose to follow in his father's footsteps by getting an education at the University of Mississippi and playing quarterback for the Rebels. There he scored 81 touchdown passes and won the Maxwell Award and SEC Player of the Year Award. He was drafted to the NFL in 2004 at age 23; since then, he has taken the New York Giants to Super Bowl victory and won the MVP Award twice.
